Tsubusa-san - Diary

There was a writer of children's literature named Kimura Shoshu in Tomika town, Gifu.
Around in Meiji period, he found out that in Tokyo there was a room from which everyone could borrow books.
He hoped to have such a place in his hometown and started contributing books he collected, one after another.
And so the library was established.
Among the people who campaign for introducing Shoshu's achievement and the importance of books, there is Mr. Kato Tsubusa, ceramic artist.
I visited Tomika town at the invitation of Tsubusa-san.
My son really enjoyed playing baseball with Tsubusa-san's children.

After coming back to Nara, is it just my imagination but in his practice at the back of our house the number of his homerun is increasing??
