Now I'm back from a trip to the Netherlands.
Let's start with about Amsterdam.
Because "Ams" has so many "dams," the town is called Amsterdam.
My retrospective exhibition is programmed in the National Museum,
plus screening the Mourning Forest (Mogari no Mori), and so I got a lot of interviews from the media... and my son Michuki was there too.

We took a boat tour. When the boat arrived in front of Anne Frank's house, Michuki murmured,
"I've been in this town before." I came to think about it too... But wait. Michuki was in my body for eight months, so I got the weird feeling that he might keep the memory...
I experienced this weird feeling of visiting the same place before at several times at several scenes.
Do these things really happen?
But it would be very romantic to have the memory of living in the old times.

Two and a half hours trip from the Netherlands to a bit warm Spain.
I went there to present a filmed correspondence with a Spanish film director.
The Cultural Center called CCCB is also a governmental facility.

The hall is packed even though it was a night show.
This film will be stocked in this library.

This Spanish director's name is Isaki.
↓↓↓It sounds like a fish's name.

The lake in his hometown seems just like a painting of an impressionist artist.
So beautiful.

And all Spanish people are cheerful and fun.
And they have lunch at around two o'clock... then many of them go out during the night.
Seems they really enjoy their life.

Screening the film finished successfully.
I went sightseeing a bit.

↑↑↑Sagrada Familia of Gaudi is so big.
And it was so crowded; I suppose ten thousand of tourists from all over the world come visit here every day.
Had to wait for the elevator for 90 minutes...
Michuki, what are you thinking about with binoculars?

The long and long spiral stairs, we went down and down slowly.

←And in this photo,
there stands Columbus pointing to the Mediterranean See.
My high school, Ichijo High School, has the emblem of The Santa Maria with Columbus.
It's one of my mottos, too.
At the foot of Columbus, there lies a lion. What's my son thinking about riding on it?
