The short film which has been distributed world-widely through the website, "Nikon Next."
I shot the film in Amami, the southern island.
The title is "Tsunagari yuku mono" which indicates "relationship."

Touta-kun (I mentioned him in my past diary) is the main cast.
I had long been planning his casting; he's handsome, sings well and cooks well.
For his father's role, I selected Mr. Dodo Shunji; I had been thinking of him as well.
He's a professional photographer.
He joined the film with his 40 years old camera.

The story is quite realistic and strong.
And it's world distribution.
The website provides a five-language service, so please tell all your friends in the world about the film.

I really appreciate all the staff in the project, giving me this chance.

Most of the crew members are new-faces but I really enjoyed shooting with them.
I always value "who work with" before "what we make", and it was the best crew I ever worked with.
