Finally...
Finally we got sunny days, but already Bon holidays.
Moreover, it's been chilly in the mornings and evenings.
But here are lovely pickled plums.
Spreading one by one emits sour smells hitting my nostrils.
My son and I both love pickled plums!
We eat one almost every day.
That's why I made 10 kilos this year.
Wish they will be delicious.
Worried about the rainy weather though...

Yes, I'm making a documentary film.
At an old Edo style house lives a pregnant woman: she even splits firewood herself.
And there come four seasons...
Summer version.
I could've witnessed again the new-born life.
Welcome to this wonderful world!
The baby's face looks so peaceful and contented as if saying the world I live is truly wonderful.
I myself live in a vacant house while shooting such a moment.
I look at the moonlight through uncurtained windows...
The morning sun...
Even I feel lovable toward the weeds in the yard.
Once you live in a place, it grows on you.
It's a really fabulous place and hard to leave.

I went to see a friend of mine in Higashi Yoshino whom I was longing to visit for years.
He's a carpenter and his son is a doctor of entomology! (real doctor)
We did fishing, climbing up trees, and so on...
Playing like a kid, and it made me really relaxed.
It's really cool in Higashi Yoshino.
I can feel autumn coming.
And near the ginkgo trees is the eatery called "Tsuki Usagi (Moon Rabbit)" which serves country cooking.
The owner seems really enjoying his life saying "just for pleasure and pleasure."
Accidentally, I found my friend's potteries and met another friend of mine visiting the same...
It really surprised me: so many encounters in this place.
And his dog.
So cute, his eyes looking up...
