October 2009archive

I went to Tokyo International Film Festival.
Gave a speech for my film "KOMA."
Thank you for the invitation.
I was glad a lot of people came.
But I guess the soil of Tokyo does not suit me.
I've been sick since then.
My body hurts, from shoulders to neck, back, head.
I don't feel like doing anything.
No. Getting weaker my immune strength.

While I was sleeping in the bed, my son brought me presents one after another to cheer me up.

1. Bee (dead)

2. Origami Rings

3. Arm Chain (presuming the gadget for one of the superheroes on TV?)

Whatever it is, mother is delighted.
Though the bee is wet and scary (don't know why he put it in the bag of paste).

Potato digging, the autumn event.
We've been growing potatoes in the rented field in Asuka Village since Mitsuki was two years old.
Just like fixed-point observation, I measure Mitsuki's growth.
He could not speak the first time we came here.
By the way, we are at a loss every year about how to cook these potatoes.
Rice with potatoes and soup with potatoes everyday.
Does anyone know easy recipes for potatoes?
Waiting for your help.

This year's potatoes are sweet.
Cutting out a flower on the potatoes... pretty, isn't it!

After all, Hashiken-san... my destined soul mate.
His words touch the bottom of my heart.
Can't explain well this feeling though.
It is as if our first encounter on the day of the total sola eclipse has now fallen in my heart.

At that time, Hashiken-san's singing voice was spreading in the sky.
And it was sent in my heart.
Hashiken-san also wrote that experience in his blog expressing "into the sky, into the sky."
Wonderful experience.

Takutaku in Kyoto.
My first experience going to the club with live music (I don't normally watch movies or listen to music), and it made me cry.

And I got to know one fact this moment.
His name is the same with my dear adopted-father Kenichi.

I listen to his song "Blue Moon" with the memory of my adopted-father.
The lyrics by Hashiken-san.

There's no fearful dream here anymore.
I'll be rubbing down your hair until you fall asleep again.
Blue moon over the window.

I got totally knocked down by this part.
This is exactly my adopted-father used to do to me.
It made me feel safe being there.
I wouldn't have been here if he wasn't there with me.

Thank you Hashiken-san for this.

And I visited his concert in Tokyo.
At STAR PINE'S CAFÉ in Kichijoji.
Eating noodles before the concert; on my right Kengo from Amami and on my left Hashiken-san.

A little nervous Kawase.

The 52 steps to the Kofuku-ji Temple became a slope!
This is shocking.
This is my first experience and would never watch it once again.
I never witnessed it before!
This is a way weird sight for Nara people.
A lot of things have been renewed for the 1300 anniversary event in Nara.

Try skiing here.
I got a bad idea...

One of my classmates is a shiitake farmer in Tawara.
Their shiitakes are very fleshy and delicious.
It's really wonderful to have seasonal food in the right season!
My son's enjoying shiitake-picking!
At the event on October 10th, we will serve delicious food with shiitake in it!
Please come and enjoy.

Lucky seven!
I went to see Kengo-san of FM Amami Station,
and I happened to join the radio show.
I just wanted to visit him though.
But I enjoyed it.

I didn't have to introduce myself.
I just talked about how really I like Amami.
So nice.
Amami island.

Then, Hashiken-san whom I met on the day of the total solar eclipse.

I've been listening everyday recently.
The programs "Beautiful Country" and "Gratitude." I like them.

Can we meet at Kyoto Takutaku?
We have to get together!
Can't wait!!
