Kawase Naomi's Documentary dvd-box "Tsumugu" now on sale
In 2008, Kawase Naomi's retrospectives have been held in eight countries (Spain, Germany, Korea, France, Turkey, etc.). Since she won the grand-prix at the Cannes Film Festival 2007, her documentary films, which established the starting point for her as an auteur, have gained considerable attention. Her representative works "Embracing," "The Weald" (which is often regarded as the other "Suzaku"), and other documentary films which follow her 10-year footsteps, are all included in this dvd-box (8 films in total).

An epoch-making work, questioning her own roots through searching her father who parted and lost contact with right after her birth. The sequel was born from the fierce engagement between Kawase Naomi's talent and madness with which she pursues herself to an extreme extent in her film depiction.
